Ann Byrne Art

Based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, I work from my garden studio, where my lifelong passion for art continues to evolve through painting, sculpture, ceramics and mosaics. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the Limerick School of Art & Design in 2012, I have continued to develop a predominantly abstract practice, inspired by exploring different materials and creative processes. I have exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions and remain a dedicated supporter of the arts within my local community.

A varied selection of paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolour, alongside sketchbook work, exploring landscape, colour, memory and everyday experiences.

My work moves between abstraction and representation. I enjoy working across different mediums and styles, allowing each to bring a fresh perspective and new possibilities to my practice.
